Tamar Sea Rescue :
The
Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol, now the Tamar Sea Rescue Services, has
raised almost all of its funding in the community. It refitted an
unwanted vessel from New South Wales, the Goondooloo, and has performed
numerous rescues and won awards, including the Australian Naval Award
for the most efficient rescue division in Australia.
