Welcome to Rosevears, MLC tells people of Frankford.

Legislative councilor Kerry Finch has welcomed residents of the West Tamar Frankford region to his electorate.

Frankford people have been included in Rosevears, instead of the former Rowallan division after changes to electoral boundaries announced on Saturday.

“The change makes sense as Frankford residents look east towards Exeter, rather than west to Deloraine,” Mr Finch said.

“They are also in the West Tamar municipality.”

Mr Finch said he looked forward to pushing the concerns and needs of the Frankford region in his next six years as a Legislative Councillor.

“One of my main concerns is the safety of the Frankford Main Road, which should be a proper highway,” Mr Finch said.
