The “best dressed” window display for the Queen’s Baton Relay was won by Cooks Supermarket at Exeter. The children from area produced their own design on a calico bag, which was displayed on the front window. I judged and presented Joan Cook the owner with a beautiful turned bowl which was made by Brian Robinson from the Tamar Woodworkers Guild Inc while Jannie Turner who organized the Queen’s Baton Relay officially congratulated Joan.
